Shimba Hills National Reserve Day Tour

Shimba Hills game reserve is located in a densely coastal rain forest and is home to some wildlife animals like elephants, giraffe, buffalo, leopard, the endangered sable antelope and other smaller species of animals like serval cat, civet cat, black-faced vervet monkey, colobus monkeys among others. For bird lovers, there are over 100 species of birds. A game drive viewing in search of the animals will be done in the morning. For those who are physically fit, we shall walk for 1/2 an hour down the steep to Sheldrick falls accompanied by our guide. (Wear comfortable shoes for walking). Explore the beautiful Sheldrick falls. Lunch will be at Shimba Hills Green Safari Lodge. You will be dropped at your hotel/Ship afterwards.

Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel/cruise ship in the morning.This day trip starts/ends at Mombasa, Diani, Mombasa sea port. From North Coast hotels it takes an hour drive through the Likoni ferry. From Diani and South coast hotels, it takes 30 minutes drive.
