Itinerary

Welcome to Tanzania! On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport a representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the lodge for your first night under African stars. KIA Lodge is just a 5 minutes drive from the airport. You can admire the vast views of the African plains and of course Kilimanjaro Mountain that shows her snowy top mostly in the morning and at sundown.

After breakfast you will be collected by our driver/ guide and be taken to the TPC Moshi Golf Club, a journey of approximately one hour.
TPC Moshi is a working sugar cane plantation and pretty much the first golf club in Tanzania since 1920.
This 18-hole course has an amazing views of Mount Kilimanjaro some of the holes. A number of holes share a portion of the course. However, the tee-box is always different. Water is abundant, with a few sand bunkers, great birdlife, vegetation and old trees. The course is challenging while still friendly.
Relax by the pool, and after lunch you go to the course to play a round of golf. A mountain bike tour on the plantation is an option for every fitness level! Or a tennis game next to the clubhouse. Rackets and balls provided.
Overnight stay in one of the Golf Cottages.

After breakfast your private safari car with private driver/ guide is yours for the next 3 days. The driver is well trained and has extensive knowledge of the land, the wildlife and nature. He will explain everything to you over the next few days. It is approximately 3,5 hours drive to Tarangire. Let the scenery pass by and admire the life of the Masai people who live and graze their herds. Lunch will be at the Tarangire Sopa Lodge

Tarangire National Park, with its hills, golden grass landscape, hundreds of baobab trees, large herds of elephants and many lions is one of the lesser known but also one of the most beautiful parks in Tanzania. The park is home to 550 species of birds and animals, and is known for the large numbers of elephants.

After breakfast enjoy the game drive in Tarangire National Park. A lunchbox is prepared for you by Tarangire River Camp. Enjoy it at one of the picnic spots in the park. From Tarangire you drive to Ngorongoro Crater. On the way and depending on the time a short walk in the village of Mto wa Mbu could be possible. Your driver/ guide will explain the time needed for the walk.
You stay overnight at NGORONGORO SOPA LODGE, a lodge where the rooms have the most stunning views over the Crater!

Today you are going to visit one of the most special places in the world: Ngorongoro Crater. An early morning is called for so you’ll be in the crater as Africa awakes. At the gate of the park fees are paid, and from there it is about a 1,5 hour driveinto the crater. Along the way you pass a very beautiful viewpoint over the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s most spectacular natural areas because of the diversity and density of wildlife. In the Crater floor all members of the Big Five can be seen (elephant, lion, black rhino, leopard andbuffalo). There is one animal that you will not see today and that is the giraffe, since the walls of the caldera are too steep for them.
The lodge will provide you with a lunchbox to eat at one of the picnic spots in the crater. After an amazing day you drive back to Arusha.

The next three nights accommodation will be NGARE SERO MOUNTAIN LODGE CONSERVANCY.
The lodge has a beautiful garden, a lake where more than 200 species of birds can be spotted, a 30 -meter swimming pool and plenty of seating areas to relax.

After breakfast you will be taken to Gymkhana Golf Club. Gymkhana is located in Arusha town. The course contains only 9 holes (Par 72), but is pretty challenging. The slightly hilly terrain has many trees. 18 Holes can be played using alternative tee boxes.
For lunch, we take you to Mount Meru Game Lodge & Sanctuary. As the name implies, this lodge is a “wildlife sanctuary” where you can see the last zebras, monkeys, waterbuck and other wildlife. The sanctuary was originally established to provide a safe haven for injured animals.Colobus monkeys can sometimes be seen in the trees around your lunch table. After lunch return to the lodge, for some poolside relaxation.
In the afternoon it’s time to relax at the lodge.
The lodge offers a number of free activities. A boat trip on the lake or a walk into the private forest to spot monkeys (the Sykes monkey and the black and white Colobus monkey you will definitely meet). The lodge also operates a trout farm and the staff will gladly show you around.
For usd 15 each person, a cultural tour can be organized along the village, the schools and the orphanage. The guide will also show you his or her family home.

Day 7 :
Kili Golf

After breakfast you will be taken to Kiligolf, located approximately half hour drive from the lodge. Kiligolf is one of the newer golf courses in Tanzania, the course’s presentation is highly individual, each hole blending effortlessly in to the natural canvas of the terrain. From the ingeniously shaped bunkers, to the pop up irrigation system, the entire course has been created to the highest standard possible. Fairways and greens are bordered by water features, indigenous plants, native grasses and trees adding drama to the landscape. This provides golfers with a unique and tranquil golf environment. That par for the golf course is 72 with the traditional mix of four par threes, four par fives, and ten par fours. Very nicely landscaped, lush green fairways and well manicured greens. You can see both Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru from certain holes. The necessary water hazards are inevitable, and you will see many beautiful birds. It is not unusual that you will see monkeys, zebras or gazelles. Oh, and did we tell you about the crocodile in the lake around the 9th green?
A delicious lunch will be provided at the clubhouse. At the end of the day you will be taken back to the lodge for the 2nd night.

nature of the course, and now having experienced the course yesterday, you will be waiting for another chance to conquer “Kiligolf”.
There is also a swimming pool to take refreshment.
At the end of the day you will be taken to Kilimanjaro Airport for your flight home
