Itinerary

You will be welcomed on arrival and transferred to Moshi for relaxation and overnight stay.
Accommodation: Lodge
Meals included: N/A

After breakfast at your hotel, come aboard your private safari car to embark on your Tanzania safari! Drive from Moshi toTarangire National Park, just 4 hours away from Moshi. Tarangire is probably one of the least visited of the northern Tanzanian game parks, and retains a real air of undiscovered Africa, particularly in the south of the park. It lies a little distance to the south east of Lake Manyara and covers an area of approximately 2,850 square kilometers. It is named after the Tarangire River that flows through the park. The swamps, tinged green year round, are the focus for 550 bird varieties, the largest number of species in one habitat anywhere in the world; on drier ground, the Kori bustard – the heaviest flying bird – can be found. The huge mobs of elephant are easily encountered in any season.
After game drives in the park, drive to Esilalei Village located about 45 minutes away for dinner and overnight stay.
Accommodation: Isoitok Camp – Deluxe Tent
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Isoitok Camp is situated in Maasai land in an area known as Esilalei on the soft rolling hills of Losimingori, just 12km away from the beautiful Lake Manyara. Its relationship with Maasai neighbours allows the intrepid traveller to be enveloped in Maasai culture and lifestyles. Through its “Smorgasbord” of activities, the camp has on offer some exclusive insights into Maasai culture.
Go for a traditional medicine walk in the morning, followed by a Maasaiboma visit, before having a delicious lunch at Camp.
After lunch, drive straight to the bushmen country and spend the late afternoon or evening interacting with the Datoga tribe. Enjoy traditional songs and dances before returning to your camp for dinner and overnight.
Accommodation: Kisima Ngeda Tented Camp
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Lake Eyasi is home to the hunter-gatherers ethnic group of northern Tanzania – the Hadzabe tribe. They bear similar characteristics to those bushmen in southern Africa. The small people of this indigenous tribe are probably the last living in harmony with nature and have a wealth of fauna and flora knowledge to share.
After an early breakfast, join the bushmen in their hunting activities. Interacting with indigenous people of northern Tanzania is an unforgettable experience. Spend your morning walking in the African bush.
After a late breakfast, drive straight to Ngorongoro Crater rim for relaxation and enjoy a breath-taking sunset.
Accommodation: PakulalaNgorongoro Camp
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

The world-famous Ngorongoro Crater is at the eastern edge of the Serengeti in northern Tanzania. Nearly three million years old, the ancient caldera of the once-volcanic Ngorongoro shelters one of the most beautiful wildlife havens on earth, ringed with towering walls and sheltering forests, grasslands, fresh springs and a large soda lake.
Descend into the Ngorongoro caldera very early in the morning to view the wildlife on the crater floor. The Ngorongoro Crater is often called “Africa’s Eden” and the “8th Natural Wonder of the World”. A massive extinct volcano, the sheet walls drop thousands of feet to a “Noah’s Ark” of animals on the verdant floor below. Large herds of zebra, buffalo, antelope and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. At dawn, the endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing on dew-laden grass in the morning mist.
After your morning game drive and picnic lunch, proceed to Serengeti National Park, where an abundance of resident animals can be found all-year-long.
There is no bad time to visit the Serengeti as every season has its own special highlight – even the rainy season has the daily thunder and lightning to look forward to. Changing seasons and light patterns form the most beautiful backdrop to view Africa’s majestic and incredible wildlife.
Accommodation: Kiota Camp
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Go for a morning game drive in the Central Serengeti area to see resident elephants and lions. You can have a picnic lunch at the hippo pool, before continuing your drive northwards.
Enjoy an en-route game drive as you drive from central to northeastern Serengeti. Proceed to Buffalo Luxury Camp, located just outside the northeastern Serengeti park border. You can go for a night game drive to spot nocturnal animals, complimentary as part of your stay at Buffalo Luxury Camp. (Night game drives are not permitted inside the Serengeti).

Early morning breakfast and then depart for full day game drives in Kogatende with your expert guide.
Many visitors only want to see the river crossings but the true spectacle of the migration is more than 1,245,000 wildebeests, 200,000 Burchell’s zebras, 18,000 elands and 500,000 Thomson’s Gazelles filling the entire stretch of landscape. The shifting columns of the herds as they traverse the valleys and the hills can only be watched in awe. There is nothing else like this on earth. Besides the amazing wildlife in Kogatende another very positive feature is that there are very few lodges and camps here so all the viewing can happen with few others around.
Then, retreat to your camp for an evening of relaxation.

After your morning game drive and lunch, the tour is over and it’s time to say good bye with many new impressions in your mind. Your driver will bring you back to your hotel in Moshi
