Itinerary
Arrive at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO). After immigration formalities, head over to the luggage carousel to claim your luggage. A Vacations Quests’ representative holding a paging board with your name will be waiting just outside the arrivals area to meet, welcome and transfer you to your overnight hotel of stay. You are booked at the Serena Mountain Village – 5 Star, which is situated on the shore on the Lake Duluti, surrounded with Coffee plantation farm near the village of Tengeru on the outskirts of Arusha town.
After an early breakfast, your will be met by our safari guide , who will brief about your Tanzania Deluxe Safari before you proceed by road for two hours to Lake Manyara National Park, one of the most popular and attractive national parks. For a relatively small area in size, it contains a variety of habitat and diverse animals and birds. Lake Manyara is also famous for its Tree-climbing Lions and numerous migratory Birds. Enjoy game viewing within the Lake Manyara National park with picnic lunch. Late pm return to our deluxe safari lodge check in and ready for dinner and overnight stay at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge - 5 Star. Meal plan: (Breakfast, Picnic Lunch, Dinner).
After breakfast say farewell to Lake Manyara, we proceed by road via Ngorongoro rain forest to Serengeti National Park were you will spend two full days. The largest National Park in Tanzania and one of the largest wildlife sanctuaries in the world. The park lies in a high plateau between the Ngorongoro highlands and the Kenyan border towards to Masai Mara and extends nearly all the way to Lake Victoria in the west. The landscape of the park, with its low vegetation and vast seas of open plain, is ideal for game viewing. The Serengeti is famed for its annual migrations of Wildebeest, Zebras, and Gazelles. As these massive Herds of herbivores search for new grazing ground, they are tracked and hunted by an impressive array of carnivorous Predators such as Lions, Leopards, Cheetahs, and Hyenas. The vast plains and woodlands are also inhabited by Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Hippo, Antelope, Ostrich, Jackal, Baboon, and Dik-dik. Bird life in the Serengeti is surprisingly abundant with nearly almost 500 species of birds having been recorded here. Late afternoon to your deluxe lodge Serengeti Serena Lodge, set high on a hill with magnificent views of the sweeping Serengeti plains, the lodge is reminiscent of a traditional African village, emulating traditional Masai huts built in the time-honored hut style, houses deluxe luxury bedrooms with en-suite facilities. Today after breakfast we explore Serengeti National Park, the world famous wildlife sanctuary the Serengeti National Park. The largest of all the National Parks in Tanzania, summed up as 'one of the most unique areas in the world'. The Serengeti contains the largest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, on a scale, which has no parallel any where in the world. The abundance of herbivores includes wildebeest, Zebra, Gazelle, Topi, Buffalo, and Hartebeest, to name but a few. Serengeti is also famous for Predators e.g. Lion, Cheetah, Leopard, Hyena and contains a wide variety of birdlife. After breakfast check out from your lodge, with picnic lunches, game drive en route via Simba Kopjes, Naabi Hill Gate to drive towards Ngorongoro. We will stop at a Masai Village before we proceed to the crater rim to enjoy great views of the crater from the top. We will stop on the crater rim to enjoy one of the most memorable picnic lunches in your life. Our stop is at the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge which offers a spectacular view of the crater floor, the lodge is built into the crater rim of a dormant and collapsed volcano (known as a caldera), the plant and ivy-covered native stone blending masterfully with its surroundings. After breakfast , descend to the Ngorongoro Crater for a half day tour with picnic lunches. This oval shape 300 sq.km in area and 610 m deep crater is a repository of Africa's finest wildlife. All the Big Five are present living a privileged existence on the crater floor, and so placid you can move right among them. Later on, ascend to the crater rim as we exit through the beautiful rain forest of Ngorongoro Conservation area to the traditional village of Karatu heading towards to the edge of Rift valley for dinner and overnight stay at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge - 5 Star. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
After breakfast, return to City of Arusha this will be the end of your Tanzania Deluxe safari. If you will be travelling to Nairobi we can arrange 2:00 pm shuttle bus for you to Nairobi or we can drop you off at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARU) for your onward journey to Zanzibar Beach Holiday or return back home.
