Amboseli National Park provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling savannah scenery it is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro which, at 5,896 meters, is the highest free-standing mountain in the world and topped by one fifth of all the ice in Africa. Against this magnificent backdrop roam vast herds of elephant accompanied by a kaleidoscope of other fabulous beasts -lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle hippo and wildebeest to name but a few. There are also over 400 species of birds, all manner of reptilian, flora and fauna and some of the most soul-searing views in Africa.
Pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport in the morning and drive to Amboseli national park. The drive will be less than 5 hours to Amboseli park, which is famous for its scenery with a backdrop of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro, which dominates the landscape and open plains. You will arrive with short game drive proceeding to your lodge for check in and lunch. Check in at Ol Tukai lodge have lunch and a short rest. Later afternoon game one of the best places in Africa to view large herds elephants. Dinner and overnight at Ol Tukai lodge. Meals- L,D
After breakfast at the camp, we enter the park with packed picnic lunches for a full day game drive in Amboseli. Wherever you travel within the park you will remain under the watchful gaze of the imposing Mount Kilimanjaro. Lunch will then be served at the Observation Hill with a bird’s eye view of Amboseli followed by a further game drive.
The park offers a variety of wildlife such as wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, and we’ll be especially on the lookout for lion and cheetah. The park also features a diversity of landforms, and you may travel through wetlands, savannah, woodlands and thorn-bush country.
You’ll have fun on these many game drives, but you’ll also have plenty of time for relaxation at your lodge or tented campground. Just let us know your preferences.
You can also take advantage of an optional visit to the local Maasai village to meet its people and learn about their nomadic culture and way of life.

After breakfast leave Amboseli for Tsavo West. As we depart Amboseli, we’ll take a last glance at Kilimanjaro and perhaps sneak a peek at its famous summit, if the clouds disperse.
The drive will be less than 3 hours to Tsavo West. Game en-route from the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal clear water gushing out of from the under parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flowswith. You will have a visit to Mzima Springs where you can see hippos and fish in a crystalline clear water. There are possibilities of seeing crocodiles and monkeys. Later proceed to your lodge for check-in and lunch. Check in at Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge. Later in the afternoon you will go for more game drives. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos. Dinner and overnight at your hotel Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge.
The Taita Hills Wildlife Conservancy derives its name from the surrounding clusters of hills and is an integral part of the Eastern Arc forests classified as an biodiversity hotspot. The conservancy covers an area of 28,000 acres of mosaic habitat where the plant physiognomy is riverine forest, savanna wood and grassland. The vegetation formation is usually dense, stratified and always dominated by Acacia /Commiphora trees and may appear to be evergreen in wet areas such as in the central lowlands of the sanctuary.
Early morning breakfast. After breakfast leave Tsavo West for Taita Hills sanctuary, a drive of 3 hours to Taita Hills Sanctuary. Arrive with short Game-en route to Sarova salt lick game lodge Sanctuary. Check in and have lunch. Afternoon game drive in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Lion, Leopard and many more. Dinner and overnight at the Salt Lick Safari Lodge.
Early morning game drive then back to your lodge for breakfast. After breakfast check out with short game en-route drive to Tsavo East National Park a drive of 2 hours to Tsavo East. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species and the famous man eating lions. You arrive with game en-route to Ashnil Aruba Lodge. Check in and have lunch. Later afternoon another game drive at the park. Dinner and overnight at Ashnil Aruba Lodge.
Early morning breakfast at your lodge. After breakfast check out with game drive proceeding to Mombasa a drive of 4 hours. You will arrive around lunch time. Drop off at your North or South Coast Mombasa Resort for your relaxed days to soak in after safari.
